Double-click any word to correct it in place. Every change goes into version history, showing what it said before, when it changed and who changed it. You can compare and restore any earlier version.
Add the names and jargon your meetings use to your dictionary, and they come out right first time.
Online calls
Records your call when it starts.
Turn on call detection and Me Recorder notices when a call begins in a desktop meeting app such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Confirm everyone knows, press Start, and it records your microphone and the call's audio together.
It never joins the meeting as a bot. Mute your mic in the recording with one click, and you're always the one labelled "You".
Dictation
Talk into any app.
Hold Right Option on a Mac, or Right Ctrl on Windows, and speak. Let go, and your words are typed into whatever you were writing: an email, a document, a chat. Tap instead of holding to dictate hands-free, even while a meeting is recording. Your dictionary works here too.
Your clipboard stays exactly as you left it. Me Recorder puts back whatever you had copied, and dictated text never appears in your clipboard history. The audio is transcribed on your computer and deleted straight away.

Privacy
Your meetings stay on your computer.
Recording, transcription and speaker detection all happen on your machine. Meetings are saved in a folder you choose and kept until you delete them. Signing in only unlocks longer recordings; it never uploads or syncs what was said.
