Refund Policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

Draft. Not yet legally reviewed.

114 days to change your mind

If you're not happy with the yearly plan, ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying it. You don't have to give a reason.

The same applies each time your plan renews: you have 14 days from the renewal date. We remind you at least 30 days before every renewal, so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

Before you buy, you can try recording and reviewing for free with meetings of up to 10 minutes.

2How to ask

Paddle sells the plan for us as merchant of record, so it processes the refund. The money goes back to the payment method you used.

3What happens next

Your yearly plan ends when the refund is processed. Your meetings stay on your computer and stay fully usable. New recordings go back to the 10-minute limit, and dictation stops working.

4After 14 days

You can cancel at any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the year you've paid for and then doesn't renew. We don't refund the rest of a year after the first 14 days, except when:

  • Me Recorder is faulty or not as described, under your rights in UK consumer law
  • we remove a main feature you paid for during your plan year (a pro-rata refund)
  • we change our terms in a way that affects your plan and you don't accept the change (a refund for the unused part)
  • we end your account without good reason (a refund for the unused part)

Our Terms of Use set out the full conditions.
